Danilo Tavoni

Danilo Tavoni has always had motocycles in his blood and would have liked a career in motorcycle racing but he was born into a large family and with the poverty of those times he had plenty of other things to do. He started working as a mechanic for a small business and after a while found a job as a welder, frame-maker and fitter with Stanguellini, fortunatately right in the workshop where there was so much to learn. Later he moved over to the R&D department of Lamborghini in Bologna. It is only now, after retiring, that he can give vent finally to his real passion. He still works every day with the same drive and entusiasm of his younger days.
