Autodromo Riccardo Paletti

Autodromo Riccardo PalettiThe track was built in 1969 and was a simple 550 meters ring, with a single variant on the northern side. Two years later the track measured 1200 meters and had begun to look like a real race track for cars. Then in 1972, when it had reached a length of 1800 meters, it officially opened its gates. Today, this track measures 2375 meters and represents one of the finest structures in the world of Italian competition. The Italian Velocità Turismo and Superproduction championships, the Italian Prototypes and Formula 3 championships, the overall and the national motorcycling trophies, the European Supermotor championships and international supermotor races are but a few of the events in the track's annual program. A program enhanced by the presence, since 1991, of the Centro Internazionale di Guida Sicura, founded and directed by Andrea de Adamich, an old-time Formula One driver, today a sports journalist.
