Moto Bolognesi – L'Italjet di Leopoldo Tartarini 1960-1988
Given the great success, the exhibition "The Italjet Leopoldo Tartarini 1960-1988" has been extended until June 30, 2012.
On the occasion it was made a transition between the models on display, with the presence of two new bikes provided by private collectors in Naples and Pavia. It is about a Grifon 650 Serie Ia of 1968 and a Piranha 50 1969.
The Museo del Patrimonio Industriale in Bologna - after the last three exhibitions dedicated to the "Moto bolognesi" that rebuilt the history of 70 1920-1950 producing firms - continues to carry out researches dedicated to the protagonists and brands in this field with a new exhibition: "Moto bolognesi, l’Italjet di Leopoldo Tartarini (1960-1988)". On the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary, some of the most important Bolognese factory models will be exhibited. The foundation production has always been characterized by a steady innovation pursuit in choices and design, reflecing the style and the ideas of the founder Leopoldo Tartarini. During the preparation, the content definition and the motorcycle selection, the Museum has worked together with Pasquale Mesto, who placed at the Museum disposal the pictures and documents company archive. 21 motorcycles and 4 thematic viewers with 300 historical pictures will be exhibited.
