Moto Morini

Moto MoriniTo bike lovers, Moto Morini immediately brings to mind legendary models with picturesque names such as Settebello, Rebello, Tresette, 3 1/2.

In 1961, on the Settebello “Aste Corte”, one of the greatest motorcycle champions of all times made his debut: Giacomo Agostini.

Morini won several Italian championships and came second in the 1963 world cham- pionship with Tarquinio Provini driving a 250 Bialbero.

Between 1971 and 1986, Franco Lambertini’s masterpieces were produced: the 3 1/2, the 500 GT, the Kanguro 350 and the Excalibur.

After various transfers and other vicissitudes in the 80’s and 90’s, the company is today owned by the Berti family and Morini Franco Motori S.p.A. and has gone through major renovation programme.

In 2004/2005 important steps were taken both commercially and in manufacturing; executive and production premises were opened in Casalecchio di Reno (Bologna). The first motorcycle of the “new era” to be designed, built and sold was the Corsaro 1200cc.
