Historical collection of public transportation ATC

Collezione ATC This is one of the rare collections of industrial archaeology linked to public transport existing in Italy.
The search to collect the material now on exhibition began in 1977 on the occasion of the hundredth anniversary of public transport in Bologna, and was conducted through the commitment of the ATC transport company and other public and private agencies. The collection includes: 31 historic rail vehicles (trains, trams, buses and trolleys), archive records including the ATC Historic Archives, about 250 objects representing company processes, a library with approximately six hundred volumes, and photographic archives containing over seven thousand images. The site of the collection is itself testimony to a section of the provincial tramway for Pieve di Cento and Malalbergo
